Training Whippets. We know that when we are raising dogs, we will definitely train our dogs to some extent. Through these trainings, dogs will be more perfect. Of course, training dogs is also a long process and cannot be completed overnight. Therefore, the dog owner must have enough patience to complete the training.

1. Weight-bearing and resistance exercise. This kind of exercise generally includes means such as dragging weights and running with weights. This kind of exercise can act on any muscle group of the whole body, and the intensity can be adjusted at any time by adjusting the weight and distance. It is the most common and effective means of strength training.
2. Exercises to overcome elastic resistance. This kind of exercise is generally completed through elastic objects such as springs and rubber bands. This kind of exercise can also act on most of the muscle groups of the whole body. Because it is completed by the resistance generated by the deformation of elastic objects, the resistance increases as the movement ends. This kind of exercise is not highly regarded due to the limitation of venue and equipment, but it is often the most needed in actual combat. (For example, when a dog gets up after falling to the ground during a competition, and when it lifts up after hitting the opponent's chest area.)
3. Jumping exercises. Jumping exercises are a kind of strength exercise that overcomes one's own body weight. This kind of exercise is generally completed by placing an inducer at a high place and inducing the dog to jump upward. It is completed by supporting and jumping at the distal end of the limb. Relatively speaking, it is a local strength training, mainly training the strength of the hind limbs.
4. Resistance exercises in special environments. This kind of exercise is generally completed through special natural environments, such as swimming in water, running and jumping on sandy land, grassland and snow. This kind of exercise is largely a comprehensive exercise. It is no longer simply a strength exercise. It already includes other aspects such as speed and coordination in addition to strength. Due to the limitation of the natural environment, this kind of exercise is not used too much in actual combat.

1. When a newly arrived Whippet is in an unfamiliar environment, it will be at a loss and will try to excrete everywhere in the house in order to find a safe place suitable for excretion. When the owner finds that the dog has the intention to defecate, taking it to the bathroom, balcony or outdoors or other places you think are appropriate in time will make the training of fixed-point excretion easier.
2. The owner can limit the movement range of the newly arrived Shepherd. It can be locked in a small room. And the environment chosen is the place where the Whippet will go to the toilet fixed in the future. Spread a layer of newspaper in this range, and then let the Whippet defecate on it. Remove the clean newspaper every day and leave the newspaper with the Whippet's urine. Gradually narrow the scope of the newspaper. After a period of time, the Whippet will defecate on the fixed newspaper. In this way, the behavior of the Whippet going to the toilet in a fixed place is completed.
3. When the owner finds that the Whippet has signs of defecation, he can manually guide the Whippet to go to the fixed place to use the toilet. After the Whippet finishes using the toilet and leaves, he can give the Whippet a little delicious food reward to let the Whippet gradually develop the habit of going to the fixed place to use the toilet.
