Clinical Symptoms of Canine Coronavirus

Canine coronavirus infection is a disease caused by canine coronavirus that causes gastroenteritis symptoms in dogs. Sick dogs and virus-carrying dogs are the main sources of infection for this disease. The disease spreads rapidly and can spread throughout the entire group within a few days. The incubation period of natural cases is 1 to 3 days. Sick dogs are lethargic, weak, and anorexic. At first, continuous vomiting for several days can be seen, and then diarrhea begins. The feces are porridge-like or watery, yellow-green or orange-red, foul-smelling, and mixed with varying amounts of mucus. Occasionally, a small amount of blood can be seen in the feces.
